Step 1: Find the Living Wage in Your Area

To search for a specific county on the map below, either zoom in on your area of interest or visit the map directly by clicking on the enlarge symbol in the top right map corner to search by county name, zip code, etc. This provides a sense of level for the living wage in your area, but a full assessment of pay, benefits, bonuses, tips, etc. is accounted for under step 2 to reach the living wage figure stated.

NEW RELEASE: 2026 Living Wage Rates

For 2026 we are no longer using color coded commuting zones. In the past, LW4US used the lowest cost county in a USDA commuting zone to assign a living wage for that commuting zone. We received feedback that these commuting zones were not representative of actual commuter habits. Each county now displays the living wage rate of the lowest cost county within a 1 hour commute.  Click here to expand the map and explore.

Step 2: Understand the Fees Associated with Assessment and Certification

Our fees apply on a sliding scale based on your annual revenue or operating budget. Click here to find out more.

Step 3: Receive a Total Remuneration Assessment and Choose the Path to Living Wage that Works for You

Our proprietary tools will make clear if you are paying a living wage to all of your U.S. workers and, if not, the best options to close the gaps. We also work with you in many ways along your journey, as a member affiliate, Pledged Certified, or Leading Living Wage Certified. Click here to schedule a meeting. Or start you assessment now via our online tool.

Step 4: Meet With Us

Fill out the form below to schedule a meeting with us to discuss the certification process.

Note that scheduling a meeting does not mean you automatically commit to paying a living wage.
